THE EASIEST POP CULTURE HALLOWEEN COSTUME FOR GIRLS – ELEVEN – STRANGER THINGS

This has to be the easiest costume I have ever put together last minute! What’s even better is that everything came from our home which means I didn’t have to go out and buy anything which means this was a total mom win for me. If you’ve never seen Stranger Things, then you probably won’t get this costume, but we watched both seasons and are anxiously awaiting the third season!! Who else was a fan!? And Millie Bobby Brown is just the cutest! I love her and can’t wait to see where her acting career takes her!

Now let’s talk about the ease of putting together this costume!!! I know every southern girl mama has a pink smocked dress in their closet. This one was like 2 sizes too small for Vera, but hey, we made it work. The navy jacket we borried from little brother, George. Her hair, well, let’s just say it’s AU NATURALE!

I took some “bobby” socks and colored lines on them with markers. White mary jane keds for the tennis shoes, which we always have these on hand!

Our family loves Eggo waffles so there is always a box in our freezer! The box was the perfect addition to tie into the character since that’s what Eleven is known for loving to eat in the show!

I used red food coloring for the little blood stain under her nose. The only problem with that was that it stained her skin…..OOOPS! if this doesn’t bother you, then go for it, but if you have school pictures the next day after attempting this costume, then you might not want to use the food coloring, and go for a more washable option. Like a washable marker.
