HOW TO PASS THE TIME – PART 2 – TO WATCH

Back again friends, and this time I’m bringing you a list of all of my favorite shows and movies in my How To Pass The Time Blog Series – Part 2! You all know from my podcast list that true crime is an obsession of mine, so alot of my favorite shows and movies are in this category as well! Sitting down and watching a show or a movie is hard for me, so I have to be really invested and it has to really hold my attention for me to watch it and want to continue to watch a series. With that said, I feel like I am super picky in my selections and feel like you all will feel these are all binge worthy!

MY FAVORITE SHOWS AND MOVIES TO WATCH NOW!

the best shows to binge right now 2020

MOVIES

Lost Girls – True Crime movie based on the Long Island Murders

What Happened To Monday – In a world where only one child can be born to a family, a father figures out how to keep his septuplets active in society as one person. The ending blew me away!

1922 – based on Stephen King’s 131-page story telling of a man’s confession of his wife’s murder.

Birdbox – Thriller that had me covering my eyes the entire time, but also wanting to know what was going to happen next and how all of it would end.

Otherhood – 3 mothers’ sons aren’t coming to see them for mothers day, so they take matters in to their own hands. Sweet and Funny!

Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil and Vile – Zack Efron plays Ted Bundy and man oh man!!

You Were Never Really Here – A traumatized veteran, unafraid of violence, tracks down missing girls for a living. When a job spins out of control, his nightmares overtake him as a conspiracy is uncovered leading to what may be his death trip or his awakening.

FAVORITE TV SHOWS/SERIES

Unbelievable – True Crime about a serial rapist and a girl’s struggle to deal with her attack.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – I love this Show and can’t wait for the next season. Mrs. Maisel stumbles upon her passion for stand up comedy amid her husband cheating on her and wanting a divorce. Taking place in the late 1950s and early 1960s will have you in awe of all of the clothing and the fashion of that time!

Reign – Another Series where the costumes had me drooling! So much drama during the time of Mary Queen of Scotts.

Schitts Creek – If you’re looking for an easy watch that you don’t have to pay too much attention to to follow along, this is your series! You will laugh at the family dynamic and sibling quarrels and feel for everything this once millionaire family is going through after losing everything.

Jack Ryan – Looking for a show both you and your hubby will love….this is one! I never thought I would be in to this kind of show, but I loved it. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

The Killing – A True Crime like series…Seattle homicide detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder are deeply affected by the murders they investigate in this dark, acclaimed crime series. Another good one to watch with the hubby!

Bodyguard –

The Pharmacist – A documentary about a father from New Orleans that brings justice to his murdered son as he uncovers an opioid epidemic in his own town.

You -A dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man goes to extreme measures to insert himself into the lives of those he is transfixed by.

Dark – This series is in the sci-fi category and will probably have you up all night thinking all kinds of crazy things! I will say, this is a German film that has had voice over in English, but it never bothered me at all!

Mindhunter – A series about the formation of the FBI Profiling team and their interviews with Serial Killers.

Dead to Me – Hilarious with Christina Applegate playing a recent widowed mom who meets a friend who is not all she says she is at a group grief meeting.

Handmaid’s Tale – Offred is a Handmaid in the Republic of Gilead, a totalitarian and theocratic state that has replaced the United States of America. Because of dangerously low reproduction rates, Handmaids are assigned to bear children for elite couples that have trouble conceiving.

Yellowstone – follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders – land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.
