Memorial Weekend always feels like the

kick start to Summer Vacation

School is out for the kiddos and we usually are spending the weekend beach side!

How’s that for a room with a view!? Laine’s mom, who we have grown to call “Grumpy” is in the process of decorating and I may or may not be trying to talk her in to letting me feature it on the blog! She’s getting some help from one of my favorite designers, Cindy Meador! More on that later.

Even though living on the coast in the South pretty much feels like Summer 80% of the year, there’s just something about Memorial Weekend that makes it seem official! So I figured now was the perfect time to spill all the tea about Summer Fashion….what’s newly trending, what trends are carrying over and what I am currently coveting and have in my online shopping cart waiting for those killer sales this weekend. Let’s dive right in all of the trends and then talk about all of the amazing sales going on this weekend to get you #Summerready in the style department and save you lots of money in the process!

So first things first, Let’s talk about the latest fashion trends that are in for Summer 2019 and that you should be wearing starting now!

to be more specific, Snake and leopard are getting a summer makeover and coming out in color. Clothing, shoes, and accessories galore. Here are a few of my Summer Animal print favorites.

3. Neon

Bringing that eighties and nineties vibe, neon is back in full force, and I love this trend for Summer. Hello summer tan accelerator. Not sure how to wear it and keep from looking like you’re snookey’s roommate from back in the jersey shore days….here are my tips

1. Try it as a top or bottom and pair with something classicly simple. Think neon cami and white jeans or even neon denim with a white top.

2. Don’t pair too many trends together. Keep the silhouette simple and let the bold color be the trend.

3. Not sure about the trend (and this is my tip for most things that I’m unsure of) I like to “dip my toes in to see if the water is fine” so to speak but then again quite literally….I will add in a trend with shoes or accessories because A, These items are usually fairly inexpensive and easily replaceable, and B.) Just enough for me to figure out if I was to dive further in the trend, but not enough for me to never wear the accessories/shoes again kind of thing.

4. TIE DYE

not your basic tie dye either…….this rendition will have you dying! ha!

Again with all of the eighties vibes. You know this is right up my alley.
