Today I am putting together a few looks just in case you need some ideas of what to wear on Summer Date Nights! My husband and I make it a priority to have a date night at least once a week. It’s our chance to step away from the endless to do lists that come from parenting, working, and just being an adult. It’s a chance for us to talk about our hopes and dreams (yes, we are still adults with hopes and dreams) without the interruptions and distractions of home life, a time for us to reconnect. Another reason I look forward to these nights (mainly it’s the wine, ha! and food) is because they might be my only chance to dress up that week and I have fun dressing up for my husband on date nights.

Summer Date Nights are no different, aside from the blazing heat and high humidity that I have grown accustom to in the South. For this reason, dresses are usually my go to on date nights or a cute top and skirt combo.

I love a dress that can be worn dressy or casual. This dress in particular could be worn with sneakers for a sporty date or daytime date where a lot of walking might be happening. I wore it for a day date with my husband. This was right when I got my new camera (Canon EOS M50) he loved every minute of me bringing it along for our date (ha!). Needless to say, I let him pick the movie for being such a good sport. The life of insta husbands!!! *insert cheeky grin
